Steppers impress in Inter-house elocution

Creative students come up with amazing projects
A vibrant Inter-House English Elocution Competition was held at Stepping Stones High School on 16 July 2016. The first leg of the competition had onstage events such as JAM, Monoacting and Debate. The offstage events were Collage, Rangoli and Web Designing.
The chief guest for the occasion was Ms. Uma Mohandas, the Principal of Wockhardt Global School, Aurangabad. The onstage events were judged by the Executive Director of Stepping Stones High School Naseem Rahim and Lakshmi Murthy, the Head of Resource and Planning Cell.
The first event of the competition was JAM (Just-A-Minute) in which students of the four houses proved to be a tough competition for each other speaking fluently.
The next event was Monoacting wherein one student from each house displayed his/her inherent talent of portraying various humorous characters. The event that followed was the Debate conducted by Principal Michael Angelo D’Cruize  and the topic was “ Social Media is Solely responsible for ruining  the family and school life”. The topic was interesting and thought provoking and the oratory skill displayed by students was impressive. Two students represented their respective houses in which one was for and the other against the motion.
The off stage events were equally mesmerizing and competitive with students displaying their ingenuity in Rangoli by creating images of Indira Gandhi, Dr. Abdul Kalam, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Mother Teresa.

The creations of the collage making students were also remarkable.  The Web Designers created excellent Wed Designs for Aurangabad.
